Now I Understand Why People Think Dogs Look Silly In Clothes

Someone on eBay is peddling homemade coats for guinea pigs, which probably makes guinea pigs and guinea pig owners EXTREMELY excited...

Random...

Somehow this cat doesn't look too happy to shower, yet I think it's so cute! Then again, I'm also the same girl that likes to dress my dog... if that gives you an idea of what I think is cute! :)

Best Costume Ever!

I love it when dogs dress up... some consider it to be a form of animal cruelty, but those people are just wrong. How can a pekingneses dressing up as an iPhone be wrong? :)

Too Cute For Words...

I can hardly believe that this is a REAL dog. There is a post from the Tokyo Times about how Japanese people are increasingly choosing pets over kids -- maybe space concerns? Apparently, dogs now outnumber kids 10 and under in Japan. Take eye surgeon Toshiko Horikoshi, 46, who pushes around this teacup poodle and her Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix in a pram (fancy name for a fancy stroller).

Too Cute For Words...

Hope, the appropriately named two-legged Maltese puppy gets around by using a specially-designed device which features wheels from a model aeroplane.

The beloved pooch was born with only two legs and has small wriggling nubs where her front legs should be. At first Hope moved around by hopping but experts said her her natural mode of moving eventually would damage her bones and spine.

The persistent puppy has mastered the art of wheeling herself around, and now there is no stopping her. In fact she can bound across a room at a surprisingly break-neck pace. 'She never knew anything other than hopping like she did. The hardest thing is teaching her a new way to get around that's going to actually be better for her,' he added.

Pig In Boots

You can't get much happier than a pig in mud, or so we are told. But when this little piggy arrived in the farmyard she showed a marked reluctance to get her trotters dirty. While her six brothers and sisters messed around in the mire, she stayed on the edge shaking. It is thought she might have mysophobia - a fear of dirt.

Owners Debbie and Andrew Keeble were at a loss, until they remembered the four miniature boots used as pen and pencil holders in their office. They slipped them on the piglet's feet - and into the mud she happily ploughed.

Now she runs over to Mr Keeble so he can put them on for her in the morning. The couple, who run the award-winning Debbie and Andrew's sausage company in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, named the young saddleback Cinders after Cinderella and her magical glass slippers. They are using her to front a campaign to give a better deal to pig farmers.

Fortunately for five-week-old Cinders, she will not end up in one of their sausages. Although they were pig farmers for 20 years, the Keebles keep them only as pets nowadays. 'I don't know what will happen as she gets bigger. Hopefully she will grow out of her phobia of mud before she needs a new set of boots.'

I can hardly stand how cute this story is if it is true... And it it's not, it should be made into a children's book.

Too Cute For Words...

I'm a sucker for little anything... including this little puffed out puffer fish.

Teenage Mutant Ninja POODLE

Why would anyone do this to their poor little dog?

Lily Allen Has A New Baby

I actually don't give a shit about Lily Allen, but the fact that she has a new baby shih tzu in her hands is very important and cute to me... :) and she's holding it like a little baby! I love it, I love it...

"Juicy Crittoure" a/k/a Expensive (Pet) Shit

Juicy Couture has really got to stop. I know every brand seeks to infiltrate every aspect of our lives- but why don't some companies - like Juicy Couture - just accept that they make good track suits and cute accessories for people. I mean, even their clothes aren't that great -- overpriced and mediocre quality.

Pint Sized Piggies!

I can't deal with how cute they are... they are being touted as the next house pets. They grow to be about 5 inches long and three inches tall. I kind of want one..

The article said that the pigs are an effort of 9 years of research and breeding... and they were selling for only about $300. I wonder what their life spans are... http://www.abcnews.go.com/International/popup?id=3731500&contentIndex=1&page=4 (for pictures)

I Love My Dog... But Not This Much

Here's another one for the "world's most expensive" files. You are looking at the Amour Amour from I Love Dogs Diamonds. They really must love dogs, this is a 52-carat diamond dog collar which is worth $1.8 million. The collar includes 1600 hand-set diamonds with a seven-carat, D-IF, brilliant cut center diamond. The line of diamond dog collars include other pieces named Juene Cheri, Amour de la Mer, L'Etoile, and Cheri and selling for $280,000 to $480,000.

R.I.P. Controversy

I'm sorry for all of the videos lately... but I am just on a ROLL. This video is only one minute long and it's about a dog named "Shithead". Enough said. On a side note, I call my Shih Tzu, a "Shiht-head" as a term of affection- but why would someone actually name their dog that? I question you Middle America.

"Pet" Peeve 2: Dressing the Same as Your Dog

WOW. This is even worse than the previous blog... someone dressing the same as their dog. WOW. This is way worse, because you are dressing your dog and you had the foresight to buy the "twin" outfit. Honestly, why?

Oh yeah - that fugly checkered purse (which you can buy in Chinatown for 50 cents) is $2400 at Louis Vuitton right now. LV is seriously trying us.

Haute Dog Couture

A while ago, I wrote about ABS and designer "knockoffs" in general. Well, now your DOG can be fashionable... Doggie couture label, Little Lily, carries designer inspired gowns... for a mere $88, Ling could wear America Ferrera's Monique Lhullier gown... or Katherine Heigl's white Zac Posen for $120... this is RIDICULOUS again.

I honestly don't get it... but what do I know? I have human dresses that cost less than $120. Actually a whole boat load that cost less that $120- I mean - everyone knows my recent obsession with XXI!! Am I alone here? Does anyone out there think this is okay?

Wiggles Dog Wigs

I swear, if this company even makes so much as ONE penny, I would lose it. WHO would put a WIG on their dog? This makes NO sense. Then again, that is perhaps what people thought when dog clothes came out.
