Perhaps it's because I have long hair and to a certain extent, it's my safety blanket. Anyways, when I see actresses - or anyone - with long gorgeous hair that all of a sudden decides to buzz it, I cringe a little. Penelope Cruz is no exception. I think this is a wig though... luckily.

Hopefully Just For A Movie...
Perhaps it's because I have long hair and to a certain extent, it's my safety blanket. Anyways, when I see actresses - or anyone - with long gorgeous hair that all of a sudden decides to buzz it, I cringe a little. Penelope Cruz is no exception. I think this is a wig though... luckily.
Gentlemen May Prefer Blondes, But Billionaires Prefer Brunettes
In the age-old war of blondes versus brunettes, it appears as though the brunettes are winning. According to the Times of London, a dating site created a list of the world's top 100 billionaires and analyzed the tresses of the rich guy's wives and girlfriends. The results? 62% of billionaires had married women with brown hair. However, the article goes on to be fucking stupid by listing brunettes linked to the "world's most successful men," including Carla Bruni (France's PM), Sarah Larson (George Clooney's gf), Angelina Jolie and um, Catherine Zeta-Jones. As one Times commenter accurately notes, "This article is incomprehensibly stupid." Quite right. And while we might project certain attributes onto blondes, and think of brunettes in a certain way, do people really consider Michael Douglas to be one of the "world's most successful men"?
Now think about this: If the billionaires were women, and 62% of their husbands were dark-haired, would you think, those smart ladies are on to something? Or would you think, coincidence? The truth is, worldwide, dark hair is more common. So whomever you meet is more likely to be brunette anyway. But when it comes to pitting women against each other, there's always a new angle. Thanks, random dating site...but just for the record, brunettes are hotter. :)

12 Cents An Hour?
This just caught my attention... Michael Vick, you know the dog fighting "ringleader" and former Atlanta Falcons quarterback, recently wrote a letter to a friend of his describing prison life and how he was playing quarterback for both sides on the prison team and just keeping in shape generally. Vick reportedly gets paid to wash pots for 12 cents an hour. Are you kidding me? So, he goes from signing a $130 million dollar deal (which he has to forfeit) to making basically 2% of minimum wage? I'm completely speechless.I'm actually wondering if any NFL team will ever sign him again... thoughts?
Preppy-licious
Ralph Lauren just launched their new line, "Rugby" and I love it. The description is enough for me, "Rugby Collection: Modern interpretations of classic preppy styles - in a muted palette for men and vibrant hues for women- evoke the essence of Ivy League nonchalance." They even have the "Make Your Own Rugby" feature. I'm already in line..

You Cell Phone Doesn't Need Its Own CROC

Talk about a total turnoff. If a man rolled up to pick me up with a CROC attached to his hip with his Blackberry in it...I would turn around. I'm not kidding. I would say, this is going nowhere. Superficial? MAYBE. But whoever would make this decision is not my type. They're called "CROCS-o-Dial".
But...the desription is priceless: "For Crocs sandals fans, here’s another accessory for you. The brand have designed what will be known as the Crocs O-dial cases in bright purple, fuchsia, turquoise and black. Each case comes with an adjustable strap and a strong plastic clip to attach to a waist band for belt (do people do that these days?). Not enough features for you? There is even an internal accessory sleeve to carry everyday items like I.D., credit cards, cash and more."

Powdered Peanut Butter: The Next Generation
I was just reading about this peanut flour that you can mix with water or yogurt to make a peanut butter paste that's 75% less fat. It can also be used for baking recipes. What next? It can end world hunger? Anyways, if you're prone to eating peanut butter straight out of the jar, and by the bucket full, you'll be less likely to do the same with this stuff. There's a reason why Fun Dip never really caught on.
