Japan's best-known Buddhist nun, Jakucho Setouchi, 86, is attempting to reach a new audience by writing a cellphone novel. Apparently, "cellphone novels" are a growing trend in Japan, where subscribers (usually young women) sign up to receive short fiction via text messages. Setouchi's story, called "Tomorrow's Rainbow" focuses on a young girl who meets the love of her life after the trauma of her parents' divorce... is this serious? Like a telenovela via text message?
