Thats just so freakin sad! Its kinda of freaky because I just watched the movie, CANDY, where he plays a drug addict and I was like, WOW, he's REALLY, REALLY good and believable...
Clue phone is ringing for you, "Young, Professional and Bored." Young Hollywood types have been overdosing for decades -- ever hear of Marilyn Monroe? Believe it or not, the world did not begin when you were born. People, famous and not, have been overdosing for centuries. What surprises me is that it doesn't happen more often.
Here's a clue for you "Mole" - I didn't say that it was a recent occurence, I was simply stating "Young Hollywood" and not commenting on what a RECENT phenom this was. Your commentary is simply ignorant.
By writing "What is going on with young Hollywood," you are strongly implying that this is a new trend, that Ledger's overdose is one in a series of recent, groundbreaking occurrences.
In fact, it's nothing new: John Belushi, Montgomery Clift, Judy Garland, Keith Moon, Elvis Presley, Freddie Prinze, etc., etc., etc...
I think you misinterpreted the posting.
I get what you're putting out there. This is a sad sad story!!
