As I was leaving work today, I saw a kid jumping for joy for his new iPhone. It got me thinking- who doesn't have a cell phone these days? Clearly, AT&T sees the writing on the wall... since they are officially leaving the pay phone market by the end of 2008. Verizon, on the other hand, plans to continue on providing pay phone coverage in 33 states... Thinking about it- I haven't used a payphone in years - I can't even remember when I last used one. did ET phone home using a pay phone? I dont remember that... hmmm... but all I know is the thought of using a DIRTY ass PUBLIC PAY PHONE makes me wanna ralph all over.
