so here it is : Snowshoes, sometimes colloquially referred to as webs, are footwear for walking over snow. Snowshoes work by distributing the weight of the person over a larger area so that the person's foot doesn't sink completely into the snow, a quality called "flotation".
I'm sorry that can't be a hobby. Better yet here are some others... where do they find these people....loves organizing board game night , yard sales, frisbee, web surfing....
