I find this slightly disturbing... Miami police will be given the option of carrying rifles to combat the usage of rifles on the street. What? This change is in response to the recent killing of three police officers and the assailant's usage of a high powered rifle. Attached is the actual rifle- AR-15, which is a "civilian" version of the m-16 rifle.The only other cities to be using rifles are: LA (no surprise), Danbury, Conneticut; Merced, California and Waterloo, Iowa.
