What Happened To His Shirt?

Ummm... why did Kid Rock show up to the American Music Awards with NO shirt on? I didn't ever approve of Kid Rock wearing the wifebeater on the red carpet with his quasi-mullet grease mop. But the shirtless look? He just needs to invest in a shirt seriously... and the girl next to him has got to be high with that lame wig too.
