If you all don't know I am obsessed with watching the Big Idea on CNBC every nightwith Donny Deutsch. It is amazing all these ideas that people come up with. I swear I will come up with the next million dollar idea.
Every night you hear these success stories from the hideous crocks, to Samuel Adams beer to the razor. Then theres these useless products in my opinion like music for the toilet so your honey doesn't hear your business, to Lisa tea,a jacket with hundreds of hidden products any many more. But , the point is these people had an idea and put the time/hard work to make their idea a success and millionaires!
Tonight was about a million dollar idea just waiting to be discovered! Donny's guests simply looked into their family's past and unearthed a fortune. From old family recipes to plots of land thought to be worthless, our guests tonight have all made millions just by doing a little digging.
Dude, seriously this lady made millions of maple syrup from her great grandmothers recipe. She called Denny's everyday at 10:30 in the morning for two years until there was a new president and he gave her , her first breaking contract for 3 million to supply to Denny's. It paid off now her syrup is found everywhere including Publix.
- anyway the main points to the Big Idea, is to find something your passionate about, don't give up, and make sure that your delivering a product that will benefit the consumer in some way or is cheaper then a competitive product.
