I have the softest little spot for dogs... so, when I saw this video - I wanted to cry. Basically, Ellen DeGeneres adopted a dog, trained it and tried to train the dog to be with her cats. It unfortunately did not work out. Ellen gave the dog to her hairdresser and children...However, in doing so, Ellen apparently violated an agreement with the "Mutts and Moms" dog rescue agency by not informing them of the handoff. When the agency called DeGeneres to ask about Iggy, she said she found another home for the dog. The agency sent a representative to the hairdresser's home Sunday and took the dog away.
This is absolutely absurd and heartbreaking- especially with all these dogs being put down everyday. Watch and see Ellen's heartfelt plea for the return of the dog.
